Yes, what do you want to know?

Best engine builder around.

I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!

Not that I know him well, Adrian has been around since the 70's

In 1979, I built a Super-bug Sports Sedan, with a 2.2 Radke engine. After running a few hillclimbs, I realised the engine was not suitable for the Under 2litre class that I wished to contest in the Comalco Sports Sedan series at Amaroo Park. My research led me to Powertune, at Gladesville.

After quite a bit of negotiation [not just financial], Adrian finally built a 1968cc engine for my VW. There were a few 'teething troubles', but finally I had a reliable engine that produced 169hp @ 7500rpm, on Mark Walker's engine dyno. This enabled me to do what I wanted to do.....beat the Quickest Minis around, and win the Under 2 litre class in the Comalco S.S. Series in 1981. Adrian then bought the car from me, and still has it. He won't sell it back to me.:grind:

Cheers, Greg

Mate I'm fairly sure he doesn't do any work anymore for new customers. I think he's concentrating more on dealing with existing customers and side projects.

+1

He lives around the corner from me, I called him up one day as I wanted him to check my engine out. Very nice guy and we chatted for about half an hour, but he wouldn't take the work on as he only wanted to deal with existing customers.
