Thanks Matt. I figure if your visiting from as far away as Rocky the least I can do is take you for a spin and show you the great flexibility of the
V6.

Capable
Ok so the vehicle can go a few places, now if we can just work on the driver. Then we would have a none buggy owner who could or at least try to get
up hills we find
And yes I am going to keep bitching till you take your street baja up the hill you said you could drive up in your very own yard.

Brad, if I could understand what you were typing, I might get offended :repuke
Your just jealous at how easily I can go up all the hills. It makes your street hilux look like crap. Your buggy is off the road broken 80% of the
time, so what does that say about your driving skills :vader

Matt's got a buggy, so I'm sure he can unbiasedly compare the V6 baja, and his Suby buggies offroad ability.:thumb

well brad will have to fix his car first. Currently his brakes aren't working. Last outing he managed to drive into a tree (from a stop start),
which bent his front bar. He also got his bashplate caught on the subura and damaged it too.
An outing before that he broke both his frame horns.
An outing before that he broke his coil off his fan shroud, broke his fuel pump, and done a lot of damaged to his pan.
I don't think brads buggy would last long enough to be up for a challenge

There is no real comparison.........
Your sceptics are sceptic about the capabilities of a baja, and the V6 is too heavy (apparently)
But I would like to c any VW that can keep up. Both on and off-road

Well then !!!
Sniff Sniff, I can smell a can of WOOP ASS about to be opened.
Me and my Buggy are more than happy to come out and assist in the destruction of you street baja. Just make sure you keep your bonnet shut
I will back my Buggy against your Baja ANYTIME you like off road.
For now lets just think back to last time we went out and played. I recall a hill with not one, but two buggies at the top of it and not a Baja in
site ... Your right your baja kicks ass NOT.
Yeah I break a few things. all part of the fun. I always get home under my own power though....
So lets go play... Where do you want it ? Water ? Sand? Bush? Mud ? you can ever pick the Offroad venue ...
Long live the Buggy I say.....
As for mattie 182 and his feelings of "But I would like to c any VW that can keep up. Both on and off-road" He is more than welcome to come
watch as we play.
Now let me think .... how many things has your Baja done Off Road that my Buggy can't ... now let me count 1.2.3.4.5....... oh that’s
right, ZERO, NIL, NITCH, NOTHING, ZIP NOT A ONE.
Now how many things has my Buggy done that your Baja has been scared of ... mmmm 1.2.3.4....... at least 4 and that is without thinking real hard.
Now if want to talk speed offraod then I am also happy to accommodate you. You can pick any Inland Fraser track you like and we will go race
SO PICK A DATE .... If I get keen I may add brakes to my buggy and fix the bar, but hell I will probably not need em anyway .....:vader

well there's jumping the neighbours drive-way, you wussed out of that.
There's going up the track at rainbow, you wussed out of that.
I have done the hill in my yard, so you can't count that. I didn't do it the day you were over as my gearbox was rebuilt wrong and would
jump out of gear when the throttle was used. Not good when you want to go up a steep hill.
The hills you have done that I haven't are, the steep track at mt mee, and the rocky ledge at mount mee. I admit you are awesome, we were all
amazed you did it. But it did break your car, so I am glad I didn't do it.
If something is obviously going to damage my car, I won't do it.
You don't get the places you go because your buggy is good, you get there cos you drive like a wanker and don't care if you break stuff.
Shows how desperate you are to have bragging rights.
I am happy to go out and have fun. I do almost as many tracks, only heaps easier and heaps more comfortable. My passenger won't end up in
hospital with bruised kidneys :thumb

Let it begin !!
The drive way well wasn't that hard ... be there the weekend I get back hehe
The rainbow track, you mean the one you wally gators went up the wrong way and I said it was not a smart move so I didn't break teh law in order
to set a good example.. yeah you got me there, I still say it is stupid to get the club a bad name.
As for Mount Mee, I would hardly call, teh fuel pump dieing and the voltage regulator rattling off a result of driving up the hill which scared you
...:o
Your yard, well you say you have been up that hill but I am yet to see anything but talk and we all know that is cheap. Fix you box and show me how
you do it and I will beleive you . Until then Buggy 2 baja 0.
So what tracks do you want to play on ?
How about we head out to cruiser park and play in some of the small tracks they have. SHould be fun. Might even fit the the bash plate before I go.
I don't drive me buggy to damage it I drive it to enjoy it. I never said it gets by without incident I do however firmly support that it will go
more places offroad than your street baja, so proove me wrong :repuke:bounce
I'll even bring the camera and catch the glorious event on film for all to see, I would hate to be accused of cheating or willful descruction of
a Buggy

Well if your going to discount the rainbow track cos it was illegal, then you'll have to discount the mount mee track as well, as it was clearly
signed as prohibited.
I've got photo's and witnesses of me going up the hill in my yard, and so do you, so that cancels that one out.
So that leaves the only track that you've done that I haven't to be the rocky ledge at mount mee. Now since we watched about 4 tough
4WD's from some club try and fail, then dyno try and stop before he broke something, and only you make it but by damaging your car, I think I was
smart not to try it.
I will admit you will get your buggy more places than I get my baja. But you will break more parts doing so. The places I do chose to go, I will go
more smoothly, and more easily than you :P
Your just jealous

Yeah I know, I am proving my own point It's just me and Brad
love stirring each other.
Quote: | almost any vehicle

Very true, and exactly my point. I've seen stock Gemini's get some amazing places
Brad has car's he buy's cheap, then sells. He doesn't care about them really.
I've had my car since 1995, it has taken me a long time to get it how I want it, and I don't intent to destroy it in a hurry. Who (apart
from Brad) could honestly say that if they owned my car that they would thrash it and break it just to keep up with Brad the village idiot.
In all seriousness, I am very impressed with the abilities of my Baja. When I converted to IRS it went heaps better, and now with the V6 there is an
even bigger improvement again. With Matt in the car I was showing him how I can go up decent hills at 500rpm, and the engine loves it. It just crawls
over stuff and makes it look so easy.

As I am yet to go for a drive with Brad, i cannot compare the two.
AS i said, I would like to see a VW go better, and as I havent seen Brad in his buggy, nor driven with him, Wes is the leader....... so far
I also Agree with Wes, that when you own a car so long, the last thing you want to do is break it!!!:P:P

We can argue all day if you like. Firstly doing either of teh hills at Mt Mee did not break my buggy. Driving fast on the corrigations. Things
rattling off don't equate to damage they are simply part of driving offroad.
So you agree my buggy goes more places so therefore it is more capable off road, simple isn't it ?
By teh way I wouldn't trash your street baja offroad, it is a street baja and a show car, it shouldn't be offroad

Keen to get back and come out and play, looking forward to Fraser but we both know there is nothing there that is going to hassle either of us. Maybe
Stockton earlier that month is a better place to bet.

It's funny you call my car a street Baja, when you are the one that went and bought street tyres for your buggy. It's so when you can't
make it somewhere you can blame the tyres
I agree, Fraser Island does not have anything difficult on it.
I have nothing to settle anyway. I think we all know Brad drives like a 17 Gemini driver, and has no respect for machinery. So I don't see any
need to even respond to his silly challenges :P
Dyno, andrew, and basically everyone else ignores Brad too. They also have more respect for their machinery.

Wes's Baja is very cool and driven like Brad drives, it would go everywhere the Buggy goes.
But since I drive a buggy and since I am the other 1 in the Buggy 2, Baja 0 count,
