1962 beetle ACT
Hey everyone
Looking into selling my beetle
Its a 1962 with mostly original paint.
i got the car in december and had to do a fair amount of work to the car to get it to where it is today.
I pulled the motor and gear box and put all new rubbers and other bits and pieces in there( boots, rubber mounts, clutch cable tube, selector bush and
a few other bits)
Cleaned it all up and put it back it. i also put a quick shifter in it which cost $265 and is worth every bit.
The motor is a 1500 its has a little leak on it wouldn't take much to fix up.
the motor runs really well and doesn't miss a beat.
The car it self i think is great
The bad bits are
that it has a little rust in the bottom of the A pillar on the inside on both passenger and drivers side plus a little in the passenger door.
The blinker arm doesn't spring back it broke the other day and haven't had much time to look at it
Wiper switch doesn't work the best so i have put a different switch on it and it works great.
The good
Runs fantastic and has plenty of go
Has a good sound system in it just running ipod, sd card and usb but runs pretty loud has it in the glove box
looks fantastic
Good tires
3 MONTHS REGO
Im looking for an offer at the moment as im not 100% sure on if im going to sell it
I also have a few other BITS
I have front disc brake kit with drop spindles
Rear adjustable spring plates
Beam adjusters
and a few other bits for lowering
Thinking around the $6250 But make me an offer
CANBERRA 2900
My number is 0423349741
Cheers Brod
Would consider trading for a Mk1 GOLF
Heres a few pictures

Hello blink,
I'm in Brissie and was wondering if you would be adversed to having Canberra VW Centre do a check on the car (at my expense of course) ?
I'm looking for a friend who wants to enter the VW fold, and I understand he'd feel better having a third party check it out - distance being the
problem, naturally.
I used to live in Canberra and the photos look a lot like Yarralumla (or at least one of the older suburbs).
Let me know what you think and I'll pass it onto my mate.

Hey thanks Matt.
I've passed on your reply to my mate, now it's up to him.
I hope it works out for you both.
Turner heh, I thought it was one of the older suburbs. I would've guessed it eventually I guess.
Cheers
