Where to get paint swatches? Brisbane

hello,

So I've managed to find some modern colours in the VW range to maybe paint my Bug in but need to get hold of some swatches in these colours to see what looks good.

Tried a few local companies and they ahven't been too interested in making up some swatches or sample pots. So anyone got any ideas where to get them from?

Even VW Austrlalia seem unable to order the swatches that they have hanging on their showroom wall

You could try PPG. I think they are in Murarrie.

These guys are who I go to. Really helpful. They won;t give you swatches but they have three big books full of them and a table and chairs right next to it. I spent an hour there to come up with 4 paint colours that I bought in little tins at $25 per tin.

Not bad but $25 for a little tin so you can see if it looks good in the sunlight is a bit rich. How big was the tin?

VW54 - it's a 59 Beetle sedan originally in Fjord Blue but I'm going with a modern VW set of colours. ;)

Thanks for PPG idea Yogie :)

Not sure if there still there, but Qld paint supplies in salisbury. On the left as you drive outbound on the overpass on Beaudesert Rd. that was about 5 year ago though. They did up 2 little tins for me for free.

I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!
