Megasquirt
Is anyone here using Megasquirt on their air cooled Bug engine?
Trying to setup MS 1 to run a Ford EDIS distributorless ignition and am struggling!

Bought the ECU without mods required to run Ford EDIS - not game at all to do them myself, looks like I would be soldering my ECU board to make the
required changes?
Cannot for the life of me get TunerStudio to spot my ECU - can get Megatune to view it though.
Am running MS1 V2.2
Need to find someone who can sort out my ECU and possibly show me how to tune my ECU.
I found standard settings for EDIS in Megatune - so I think all I need to do is get my ECU sorted for EDIS and probably be right after that :-)!
I am in Canberra - know anyone who can help me locally or in NSW

A few ideas to condider looking into, I can't remember too much. You said the bought the board assembled? SMC or thru hole board? Not sure how you go
about making changes to an SMC board easily but Im sure there are ways.
Is the board configured for MS1 V2.2 or an extra version of code? I had to make changes to get mine to run extra, google them.
Good luck anyhow, after getting mine sorted and running nicely the coils crapped out, always a risk of using second hand components so don't forget
to check basic things before pulling your hair out with MS issues.
