WTB, Type 3 Rear valance panel
Ok I'm having a hard time with the rear valance in my Type 3 rebuild. The vertical indentations are going to take a mountain of time to get right. It
had been crushed upward and we did a fair job to get this far but I'm weighing up the cost and time of fitting another panel section if anyone has
one to sell.
Here's what I mean. The area below the exposed metal where all the vertical indentations are. Hard to see but mine are a bit squashed and out of
shape from the damage. The subsequent repair is a bit like a face that's had too much plastic surgury. (Not quite right)
Any how. Here's what I have.

Here's what I'm after except I need the panel full width to the bumper slots and probably a little taller if possible up to where the rear inner
ducting is connected approximately where the first horizontal crease line is. (About 30-40 mm above the weld in this pic.)

I might have to try that if I can't get this one sorted. There's a few rust repair sections available in UK but no rear valances that I can find.

Looks as though you did a good job getting it back to its original shape. Depending how spot on you want it to be i'd leave it how it is now, looks
fine & your bumper will hide some of it.
Painting it black is a good disguise too.

Thanks mate. Yeah it was pretty bad when we started.
It depends entirely on how obsessive compulsive I'm gonna be about this build. So far I'm showing high OCD tendencies. It would be nice to find the
piece so I can move on to the next part to obsess about. lol.
