[WTB - QLD] 1963 or earlier Beetle - Have Cash!

*Edit* Hey guys, the sale of my car fell through a while ago, hopefully have something sorted in the next week or so and have some money to look at getting a beetle. My preferences have changes slightly, I would like 1963 or ealier beetle. If I can find a running oval in my price range I would be STOKED! I've fallen in love with the restricted rear vision models, as well as the pre 64 engine lids.

Would like something in the $2-7000 Range

Body doesnt need to be perfect, after a rat look anyway, would obviously preffer as little structural rust as possible.

Must be running & near roadworthy (especially if unregistered), looking for something to do up over time, not a huge project to get on the road.

If you have anything in your garage or know someone who has been sitting on one but hasnt done anything, please let me know! Will, with abit of luck, be looking to pick on up over the next fe weeks.

I'm located in Ipswich, just west of Brisbane but I am willing to travel for the right car/price.

Cheers guys!
John

Bump! Sale of my car has gone through, will have cash as soon as the cheque clears.

Will consider up to 1967 but would preffer the models mentioned above, please let me know what you got! Would love something with a strong patina and no structural rust.

Cheers, Johnny.

Yeh, i've seen pretty much everything advertised on the forum, haha, was more chasing the cars hidden in peoples garages they havent advetised :P

I've been debating with myself on this one, I really like it, but in all honesty its too flashy for my taste. Great car, dont get me wrong, but too much bling for my fancy.

This is my idea of the perfect bug
