Carpet glue question

Hi,

I thought of buying a new carpet for my vintage Beetle.

I saw this and thought it was pretty reasonable.

But whats the best way to affix and glue the carpet to the chassis?

I've used weldwood carpet adhesive, seems to stick to anything.
had the same kit in a 68, glue held up well, just have a look at your local bunnings or trade store, they are around the $22 + make for 4 liters
