seat belts


have put a new roof lining in my 73 bug. Need to fit seat belts but cant remember where bolt hole for top of belt is located. Can someone give me a few measurements thanks Bob F

once its been re-padded it can be very hard to find the holes again

unless You know where they should be...

some one could measure a supers bolthole location for You..

I don't know if the hole location varied at all??

Mine measures 32 inches from top of lip in doorway straight up to center of the seatbelt bolt..

and Mine is very heavily padded there...

I think I had a similar problem years ago... lol

The front ones are pretty well exactly in the middle of the rear windows just under the rear oh shit straps.

I use a needle to 'feel' through the pin holes in the headliner material to find the holes.

Here is a photo of my passenger side mount when I had my interior re-done.
