Kombi Fuel line sizes.

Hi there,

I want to do an order tonight so I don't have to drive over to the other side of the city. What is the size for the fuel line coming from fuel tank in a 1972 Kombi?

It's 5mm not 6 h, if your engine bay has a top hatch, it had a type 4 engine so the tank had a 7 mm outlet to the pump, if no hatch, it was a 1600 so the og tank had a 5mm outlet.

Where are the best places to get them? I really would like to go a good quality braided line soon enough for a replacement.

The best is german, apparently, I now have some pretty good braided lines, but not quite sure where they're from. The breakdown kit is looking nice and plump again.

Large hose from tank to pump = 7mm
All other small hoses = 5.5mm

I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!
