May end up with a slightly larger idle jet than that, unless you have the extra progression hole.
Perhaps a slightly smaller Air jet too, but atleast you have A/F ratio to tell you what is going on 'up high'.
No guessing there! It will tell you the truth.

this is one of the first power runs 156rwhp.it made just over 160 hp at 5500rpm but head the head temps have been aliitle to hot so heaps of timing has been pulled out .i have had all the cooling tins out from under the barrels and heads in an attempt to get the oil temps up.the exhaust has 1.5 metre primaries for the street so it was dynoed as is.i will be changing the extractors and putting some cooling tins in to see what diferences it makes.
jets ended up at 70 idles
180main 150 air f7's. 44 mm vent's

it was dynoed in third because the guy doesn't like dynoing over 220,he doesn't like to over speed the dyno, does this sound right. i might have to get rid of the nineteens for the dyno next time.

not great but not bad so far anyway.

Nice smooth curve,
must have that A/F ratio pretty consistent,
no dips or bumps.

I have only dynoed in 4th gear,
but it is probably close to a stock 3rd ratio anyhow.

How does it drive arond now with that jetting?

Depends on your ratios but also it sounds like the dyno operator is a little soft. What was the top speed at the rear wheels at redline?

At the last dyno day up here in Cairns with all the imports and blown v8's they always run them in 4th if they are a manual. 3rd would mean too much torque to the rear tyres and the just wheel spin on the dyno. Some were spining in 4th anyway. 4th gear at 8000 rpm in a skyline is about 220km/h or so, which was done with an import running a 3lt hybrid and 32lb boost - 625rwhp. That would definatly not get traction in 3rd.

no nos on the dyno, not yet.
i will get the head temps sorted and then go again,i also want to make a set of race headers,i have a few ideads i want to try.
as for the redline, the dyno guy said it was well past 220 and was still reving, maybe he was to confident with the car ,and you have to remember i have 19's not 15's.the tyre is 24.5 to 25 diametre.but in saying that, you might be right maybe he has no ticker.
as for how she drives it was alittle hard to feel,it's been raining and it doesn't get alot of grip ,but it does sound nice in top gear reving it friging head off.it is very snappy.
if it's good weather next week i might take some footage ,i will keep you all posted.
i only have a 50 shot of nos in at the moment,it sounds realy angry when you hit the go button
