Just realised i havent posted pics of my hubs with rotors and discs together up yet....
I will try and find them after work tonight and throw them up. I have the pull the calipers off again to fit some anti squeal parts and correct
caliper bolts, and paint the non contact part of the disc silver. So there will be photos tonight and maybe tomorrow night.
In more recent news, i snapped another clutch cable, so we may have some other progress towards the end of the week. could be interesting.

So.... its been update time for a while, iv just been slack... whoops.
Parts from mick motors!

Parts from STIDUB (he purchased them for xena, but isnt using them, as he is going hydrualic clutch and awesome custom mounts!) Cheers again mate,
enjoy yours swapsies...

And here are the tie rods with ends fitted. the tie rods are from canada - (from lanner, and me/dave will make a tread about the product once i have
some better photos, and some of them installed in his car/my car and the third secret owner, if he wants......)
I used never cease (which is like a metalic compound??) to make sure they were easy to adjust/remove.

better Pics of the hubs semi assembled a bit later [yes i know they are in the bottom of the box} & (capped internet means it takes ages to
upload pics to photobucket!)

Hey Kev,
Engine will be coming out after i get back from a camp week after next, sadly im not driving it at the moment cause the clutch cable is broken...
Its coming out to do the mounts, gearbox shaft seal, (and clean the gearbox, its been coated in crud since the reverse switch crapped out and leaked
stuff everywhere) clutch kit (all new stuff thats been sitting on my shelf for over a year), new rear main, and a long over due tune up - tappets, new
ace aircooled oil that mick won at warwick and gave to me, (cause he had a subaru... :smilegrin spark plugs, fun stuff.

some other progress pics....
Caliper on

the disc painted for "anti rust..."

the other night i installed the clips from sides, wire burshed the caliper bolts, and used loctite to hold them in... and torqued to 29 ft/lb.
- i will try and put up some photos of that later in the week... or after i go to dave's next time.
other stuff...
front r/h side.... I have to get a bumper before i change it over.

and.... this is going to look different in the next few weeks...

I may be painting a sway bar today.....
Yesterday Mr dave butler pressed some bushings out of my new controll arms... i tried doing it without a press and failed badly, so thats DB.
I'm going on a camp next week so progress is put on hold! I need more sandpaper and paint when i get back... I'm pretty much just reco'ing stuff
and rust proofing along the way. trying to make it nicer to work on..

Got the new clutch cable in. and the brake pedal actually sits where it is supposed to now! WOOOOO
As stidub is going on a road trip... brakes arent happening this weekend coming, but i may be able to convince him to do them next weekend. Just waitning on a few bits from dave butler, and eccentric bolts.

Ah, thanks for the bump Josh, I was going to bump this up today, but forgot about it. many updates, yet very few photo's as all the stuff is at
dave's place in the cave, sitting waiting to get going. Fingers crossed that brakes will be done this saturday... I hope.
Other updates include,
- Got a berg shifter (and i hear that stidub is going to be writing an article about how you can change a car so much with a berg shirter)
- colonel leaks again, need to buy new gaffa! we had a crazy load of rain here on tuesday night. I drove to ice skating and was lean steering.
freaky!
- many more fun things to come!

They came from John Sherman. and he can do them in any pattern. about... $100 each disc... plus, $75 for drilling (per pair) or slotting.
I'll let you know if I am happy with them, once i get them on the car!

Ok... so... its going to take me hours to get photo's up...
but. major service done, engine running like a treat.
New exhaust in. yeah, thats right... FINALLY. its in. Sadly the paint didnt hold up in all area's... so i will have to do something about that.
Berg adjusted... but still not right. so, word on the street is, for it to work correctly... I need new gearbox mounts (I have them, just not the time
and effort to get them in, will have to though & the clutch at the same time!), and a coupler bushing and rod bushing. woooooooo
photos to come.
