Hey Ian, there are a couple of yellow marks on them..?

Hey Stanley, I thought it was going to be worse, I might try to get a new diff and some bigger axles.

I going to try for another TNT in about 3-4 weeks.

They must have been ready to snap hey, I have a video of the launch and you would barely have been pulling 4500rpm... Granted, you might have a few more runs on those axles than me but my engine was more or less the same power, same slicks but with a heavier car and heavier wheels and I was launching at closer to 6500rpm and was lucky enough not to break any axles... I reckon they were rooted! You do have me a little worried now as to whether I'm going to break mine first run out now!

Quick update, WPVW supplied new HD axles that are 3 inches shorter and i have had to move the ladder bars in to suit. Wayne also sent up a pair of Chris Bolton's alloy wheels (great prices and super fast freight, thanks guys!). I was going to run them as 4 stud but swapping over to the 4 stud was going to be a hassle so i had Dave Butler machine them down and into 5 stud. Dave also installed an alloy spool for me. Massive thanks to Dave for fitting me in between other work!!!!
I had the tyres mounted today. These are perfect and took a tiny amount of counter weight.
I also had a very generous offer from Michael Nash and took him up on it, i now have a driving suit boots and gloves. Im now ready for a TNT hoping for Wed next week.
thanks
Frosty

ok i'm all back together now and have to wait for a tnt, rear wheels just stick out a little to much. (off set is just a little out) i need to know who can make or anyone has some to sell some widened fibreglass guards. i need a guard that is stock looking but widened on the part the bolts to the body. I have welded 25mm to the inside and this will do for the moment.
Thanks
Jason

Hey there, that was my quickest for the night.
It ended up having a miss and it felt like the limiter was coming on, so it is already time for an upgrade. Out go the stock pushrods, rocker shafts and springs. I was also thinking that the points in the distributor might be bouncing too so thats going too.
I was quicker on all runs that this motor has previously done also the car runs straight and feels great to drive
60' 1.720 I was only giving it about 80% off the line to.
330 5.30
1/8 8.40
1/4 13.68
Mph 100.90
The other good thing for the night was I can sit in lane one to wait with the andra cars , that's worth the membership soon as the were two cars you are called forward.
Thanks for the comments, man this fun!!!!!!!
