We had to clean up our swapmeet site for most of the presentation. Our site was the one that kruizenkombi took a photo of so it was pretty big lol.
Alot of good cars there i liked it.

They do let anybody (in a VW) in, but it costs $15 for non-members, and $10 for members, two people included.
Even on my own, it only cost me $5 extra to enter the showgrounds and park, with the convenience of having my spare camera batteries, drinks and lunch
all within easy walking distance. If I had a passenger, I would effectively be parking inside for free.
It may be possible to allow one person (driver) in free if they are in a VW but don't wish to be judged? Can someone who is able to attend
meetings put it to the club?

They were going to have an area for visiting VW's.....don't know what happened with that....it was mentioned as part of the plan for the
DOVWat the club meeting the week before...so ???
There were so very nice VW's out in the general carpark that should have been inside...!!

Wow, so many cars, and in particular, so many type 3's. Stunning show, beautiful cars, wish I lived in Melbourne... (possibly next year!!!) That
blue kombi ute with the wooden rails around the tray belongs to Mark Palmer, who I believe still lives in Canberra. It won trophies the last two years
our event was on. Hey Mark, if you read this!
Big thanks to cruisin Kombi for including pics of Water cooled stuff. Next time there should be a mint early Mk2 to ignore.....Just jokes.......
