Well , it has been a hectic 4 months and the car is still here , almost ready to race and I still have not started it . I have been busy building
engines , shipping parts and trimming for the last couple of months and I am just about over it and will now finish everything up in about a week and
a halfs time so I can actually get to work on the car . I have been granted special permission to run the car at the Wednesday street meeting on the
12 th of September . I will start the car and tune it on the dyno for a couple of days beforehand to make sure all of the sensors and and engine tune
is all good . I am aiming to put 400-500 HP into the engine for the first couple of runs so I can get used to the seating position , changing gears
without using the clutch and not backing off the throttle . I will keep you informed of my progress and will need some help on the night if anyone is
available for some small duties . The aim on the night is to just drive the car down the track to obtain some data . If all goes well I will return
the following Wednesday and by the end of the night I am hoping to bounce it off the rev limmiter and launch the car hard . If all goes well after
this , I am aiming to take the car to Warwick and get up enough speed to enable me to use the parachute . I am starting to get back a little
enthusiasm and am a bit exited that all of this is almost at an end , ROD.

I have had the car pass the final technical inspection yesterday and the log book should be here on Monday .
All is progressing well and I am about 48 hrs away from the initial start-up .
