I talked to dave this morning all went well on the dyno i was told it got 163hp but he is only running low boost atm i think he said about 4.5psi and
he is on his way to sydney

As Mr Butler said, WOW! I cant believe how well the buggy went after the crazy week we had leading up to the vw showdown. Then to repair the car
overnight somehow squeeze in a dyno session on the way to Sydney including 10+ power runs all making 160+hp, load up and continue to Sydney only
expecting them to let me run maybe once down the track considering the tech concerns, THEN to go and do 5 Qualifying runs first run half track run
solo to see cars potential so slipped the clutch off the line then sunk the boot in and dropped it in first then second and backed off running a 17
something then next run decided to just go for it and ran straight in to the 12's at 108mph and it was magnificent, what a feeling! I then went on to
the round robin and progressed to the finals against Gunter, the lights came down and i cut a .1 light then drifted my way down to victory in the vw
special class running my quickest time all day 12.008@105.94Mph!!!!!
. Thanks again to firstly my wife for being so supportive and understanding when I was doing those 20 odd hour days to get the car ready, my awesome
crew Mick, Lisa, James and Matt for sticking it out and keeping me on track literally, My parents for just being there, Aaron Roberts for his massive
part in prepping this car, Troy for dropping everything and welding up my head the night I torched it and of coarse where would we be without the
"Muffin man" Dangerous Dave Butler.

Hey Guy's, Just passed tech inspection now just to get my UDL and plumb up the intercooler so I can wind up the boost and run some good numbers!
Going to enter Qld Jamboree this year too if all goes well, and then vw Warwick should be a cracker this year.

Hey, just thought I would update what I'm up to at the moment. I have pulled out the microtech and sent it off to sort out the injector pulses ( I
only have two and have batch fired the other two ) and to unlock the data logging of all of its inputs.
When it returns I will have the injectors re-wired to suit the sequential firing. I will plumb up the water for the inter cooler in the mean time then
back to Matty at pits (Dyno). I'm also fitting a boost control so I can just wind it up on the Dyno and start making some good numbers. I will let
you all know how I go!!

Hey, well i'm actually starting to get ready for jambo and warwick. Been down to my fav shop and got all the fittings required to plumb up the
intercooler system with -12 everything.
Now just have to get the tank all welded up and make the hoses, then set the car up for the dyno next wednesday. If all goes well I should have some
improved figures to share.
Here's some pics of the fittings, the tank mounted and the custom spray bar we made which will weld into the tank.

Electricals sorted ready for the dyno tomorrow then willowbank sat. They have some street meet on, hopefully I can just join in on that for a couple
passes. Other wise I'll have to wait till the next sat. plus too hard to organise a crew for wed night, we'll see what happens??
