But when the bug is on the road i dare say the commo will be left to rust.

for topline, mite go see rich @ v-force while im there for the nationals & ask him about getting a sway bar made here, its getting ridiculous,
other than that its eccentric bushings for the front, possibly some 944 spring plates and rear shocks, thats my suspension finished, till i need to
change it for reality of course

something i just came across for the conversion types, you would need to make a bracket/line out thing for the tank but thats cheap as for a decent
pump....
if i find a holder bit that fits nicely (most imports are the same size for the pump) that fits nicely inside a bug tank.... ill probably get one, if
i can sort it out before group buy is over

righteo subie people, tell me, who knows of an oil filter relocation kit for our not so easy to get aftermarket gear for engines, if only it was a
nissan
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CTR-22-597/
normal filter relocation blocks have the line in/out pointing towards the ground, add a 90deg fitting in, you havent achieved anything, the above link
seems promsing...
anyone have one?
was thinking even better would be delete the water/oil thingo & run a relocation block to filter, thermostat, traditional style cooler & back
to the block instead...
gets rid of a few extra hoses & such in the water system, not that thats anything major since the relocating adds a heap more oil line, but hey,
thats more capacity right?
http://www.vwrx.com/forum/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=47
its a bit old but should give people a better idea
thoughts? experience? anything?

once exhaust & sump are shortened, the filter sits rather low, filters arent known for appreciating being kissed by the
road/speedbump/gutter/ripple strip, taking the original cooler plate thing off would tell me at least a small traditional style cooler would need to
replace it?
do early wrx's have the plate part or is it just block/filter without anything else?
yeah you asked when i visited when yours was only just still purple, i dream of HOK brandy wine, see ruby rose pics from nationals to get an
idea-looked heaps better in person though!, after pricing the paint though...
i think ill go with any red i can touch up easy, wouldnt want to become a trailer queen for the sake of a seriously nice paint job, i wouldnt hold
your breath for the colour change though, you will probably be retired by then

why does dave need to relocate most stuff... Cause his bug is going to be lower that a show car and, he is going to drive it harder than a flogged
out commodore.... and due to his love of BOOOOOST!!! things are going to get crunched.

Here are the pics i took earlier this arvo!
it has steering again! dave will need to adjust the tie rods a fair bit before he tried to move it again, the toe was just insane, but it was cool to
be able to move it, and steer it!
the bonnet was just placed on for effect, but its looking good. Keep in mind that it is veryyyyy dusty. I believe headlights is soon on the list of
things to happen. starting to look very sweet now dave!!

just a note on the above pic... see how far out those wheels sit in relation to the spring plates and bump stop bit...
you can fit 18x10" worth of wheel there...
