Bloody Hell
Four page's since I posted last!

Yes it has been bloody wet up here, some of the outlying towns moree, wee waa, are cut off from the hyway ect. Gold coast has no flooding as yet, but
if it continue's to rain I am sure it will happen. Everything is bloody soaked and the humidity is scary, mold growing on everything! Pige absolutely
hates it, because her paints not the best she is suffering from humidity blisters. We had a half day of sun yesterday on our club run so I left her
out to dry when I got home, had some VW friends over, and guess what, we had a huge shower out of nowhere and she got soaked again! Shit I was
spewing!
On a better note, I have submitted my passport aplication. Paid the extra dollars to get it fast tracked! So whats the deal with these youth hostels
are they all linked together, I mean reciprocal rights? I think the back packers my friend is stayin and working at is a YHI establishment, whats the
difference between them and YHA.

Spent Friday up at the hospital...oldest son(apprentice mechanic and soon to be Kombie owner) cut the tip off his thumb. Evan managed to lose a bit of
bone.
Wasn't really his fault, they were checking an engine cylinder for leaks...he had a breaker bar on the crankshaft and they filled up the cylinder
with air.
Piston shot down wedging thumb against edge of inner guard and breaker bar the rest you can imagine.
So 6 hours later the end was sewn and glued back on and it's as good as new.
Second lot of stitches at work..mmmm maybe time for a career change.

he works on aircraft and there is a 707 parked out the back of the shed he works in.
I work about 500 metre away in another building but have to drive past his place in the morning going to work. Thats why I saw the 707 parked out back
this morning.
The engine on that thing could really mess up your hair if you got caught near it at the wrong time.

and yeap, I am pretty sure its Tin Cup with teh scene you are talking about.
We have had a few people get lifted and thrown about the place as well (some were people who should have known a lot better, but were desrving of the
throw anyways
Had a good vid clip of a F100 (or bigger) truck in the states thrown about as a demonstartion.
As for wanting to be in the turbulance......
Up in Darwin we used to go chase people who were,
well........................................
doing the deed in the long grass up whenever the B52s used to land or take off.
Me I didn't see the point, very noisy, smelly and uncomfortable.
Then add the grass and the bloody aircraft and you really feel like crap!!

Gotta love it being on the same base as the only aircraft that can suffer from bird strike (where a bird runs into an aircraft - usually not good for
aircraft ie: crash, and really never good for bird) from behind.
Look its a caribou in the air.... RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
