oh, i forgot to tell ou guys.
today i drove a £152,000 worth of aston martin db9!!! o-100kph in 4.5secs
top speed of 186mph!!
it's really quite nice..huge bonnet..a bit of abs shudder in the steering wheel..the 'test car' that i was in had some problems with the rear
lights, but u put your foot down and oh my f**king god, u know what's happening. ur squashing into the back of ur seat as the thing (easily) rockets
up to 140mph..(and this was on country roads!!!)
quite a nice guy the 'evo' owner...

Visited Bel yesterday...she's all painted up and being put back together
Only found one problem...they'd put new/used front guards on her... with holes up top for indicators...:o.....she never had them and I'm getting
semaphores put back on.....I pointed it out so they are going to redo the guards/getting rid of the holes...sweet!!!
She looks pretty nice in Strato Blue:kiss
So what's everyone doing for the long weekend?
So far I'm staying home......probably catch a movie and just do day trips if anything....

long weekend? i have a week of from tomorrow. then 32 weeks of term and my summer holidays begin!!!
well, i got to ride/drive it because of a guy called harry metcalfe. the owner/editorial director of 'evo' magazine. he is an absolute champion and
is quite willing to bring cars in for me to sample. it's very cool of him. (in the monaro article that the wrote after visitng bathurst, i got to
write 200wrds to go into the article about australias strict speedng fines and dodgy cop cars/cameras!! he gave me like £20 for it, and in the front
of the magazine where it has 'special thatnks/acknowlegements' there was "mark skaife,craig lownes(?), and zac smits!!" i was so happy. it was
very cool
neway, i'll be off, have work to do you know :P

I took Pidge down for a cruise at Wintersun today, taking her down every day over the weekend. It was amazing ppl looking at her amoungst all those
hot rods, she was a bit of a novelty for that crowd, she was the only Volkswagen there, when they saw the whitewalls and little back window they were
asking what year she was, when I told them 1956, they were very enthusiastic, "a fifty's Beetle" well ill be!

There was a dude selling those hub cap's you were saying you wanted, I got a card, but he's from Melbourne, so if you want some you have to come
down to coolangatta!
Well heading back down to watch the cruise toninght, it's great when you only live 10 minutes away!

Well it sounds like evryone is doing well. Jenz, looks like you had fun up in the whitsundays... u been diving before?? dad's had his instructors
licsence for years..got it when he worked for the marine science laboratory..
neways,
well i'm now on half-term so i have a good week off to relax and do sweet f-a!! it is soo good to know that you can just do absolutely nothing. i
went to stratford-upon-avon today and had a look through william shakespeares birth-house and had a nice lunch up there in an italian restaraunt.
was good...still have nice sunny weather here, and i even have a watch tan so :P. the sun feels hotter here at times, but they don't have the warm
wind coming from in the desert.
heh, well i'm off..well not really but there is nothing else to write...

Kafer's still trying to bait me with the lowering line, but he's got no hope, it's the big double SS for me Stock standard! after going to
Wintersun and seeing all the 50's hot rods (Hi Boy's are my favorites) might have to convince my little brother to build one so I can get a bit of
speed happening!
Wonder what sort of responce that coment will bring!

Check out last months VW Trends Rob...Kill two birds and just pull the guards of pidge and paint her black....:P
Took tje Notch for it's maiden voyage today just up to the local servo and back about 20k's. Apart fom the dak dak noise coming out the back they
are nothing like a beetle.
Its like driving a limo so roomy and so much window area..I love it
Just need to get a new exhaust system and I will drive it to work.
You'll be happy to know Robo other than the lowereing job it's gonna be stock even passed up on the sports wheel to keep the std steering wheel
it's like it's got power steering.
Give it a couple of weeks for the finances to build up and i'll start on the body.

It was my first dive...always wanted to do it....it was so excellent....I did another dive a few days later
Simon's got his dive instructors license in Egypt/Red Sea......no reason cept he likes an adventure and possible employment on the road......I think
he's doing some diving on his way home next month (a short visit for Bridie's 21st bd)

i am going to visit nikki..(and her family) she being a girl i met last holidays while frequenting oxford youth hostel!
i've bene diving a few times with dad..it's awesome fun..the necklace that i wear constantly (that none of you will've ever seen) is something that
i found while diving, and is apparently of spanish origin. it's my lucky charm...

Hey Ill let you in on a few remedies!
2 cloves of fresh garlic a day (in a banana sandwich)
3 table spoons of apple cider vinegar (dosent taste the best but kills all the germs in your throat)
1 teaspoon, 3 times a day, of organic honey (natural antibiotic) the honey must "NOT" have been heated in the extraction process, heating it kills
all the benificial bacteria.
It works for my family. I rarely get a cold because I take the garlic everyday, you soon get used to it.

fresh cloves only, no processed junk! the banana masks the smell quite a bit. yeah I posted it in the other post cause I like to help others.
Really starting to get depressed now, I just lost another 150 or so posts, I have been trying to stay away from the for sale threads to minimise my
losses. every time I get within 10 or 20 of 2000 I seem to loose 100 or so, don't think I will ever make it!

Notch broke down on the weekend thought it was out of fuel so walked 5k home with oldest son whinging the whole way.
Turned out to be a wire shorting out the coil...oh well shit happens was a nice day for a walk.
