Fixed the tilt forward mechanism on the passengers seat.
Went on a BBQ lunch trip with the PVCC here in Hobart to Margate which gave me the chance to see what the change in distributors may have made?
Cannot believe the difference that the correct SVDA distributor has made over the 009.
Now, if only I can sort out this damn suspension.

Fixed a leaky fuel accelerator diaphragm on my Solex 34 carby.
Rewired some "just waiting for a fire to happening electrical connections" in the engine bay.
Fitted new steering wheel.

Got a call from my bro in law to help change his accelerator cable as it had snapped. Sure, weather is good, I'll take the Ghia for a spin.
As I warmed up the Ghia in the garage pushed the accelerator one more time and..... Snap!
So yea I changed 2 accelerator cables today. What are the chances?

Mad gasser ghia!
Oh rose.... Was always gonna be hard to race 2 cars at once. I was hanging for a Ian/rose rivalry!
Today I cruised my stocka with lovely heaters on.... Out to the farm and made a start on tearing apart the race notch

While watching the racing from Eastern Creek, just mucked around and fitted the replacement floor vent supplied by Old Dubber (thanks again mate).
Checked for future fitting of a reversing switch & light,....
....and gazed in awe at the mechanical wizardry of the Z bar.
