Well done Dave.... That's really getting there.... I just fitted a Stage III clutch to the POS, with a KEP Gold disc, and I can tell you it worked really nicely for me.... Light pedal with the long clutch lever arm, and plenty of feel.

FUCH your early!

It was getting a bit hot cos that was a back to back run and didn't want to idle very well so the revs where dropping enough to bring on the op light.

Hey guy's, well after a few clearance issues with the new clutch the car is ready for tonight so I am heading out tonight to try my luck with the weather. Gates open at 4.30pm and runs commence at 5.30pm. Hope to see a few out there!

Event is on tonight Wayne, car is all prepped. Just did some practice launches up the driveway and it wanted to pull left so I've lifted the r/h rear spring plate and she went straight as! Should be a good night if it doesn't rain. Feels like it has good power!!

Cheers Dave!

Well, had a great night at the track tonight. As DB mentioned I passed my license by running two back to back 10 second passes. The first run was embarassing as I was still feeling out the new puc clutch and as I launched there was enough force to flick my 'missile' style ignition switch to the off position so you could imagine the car doesn't go real good when it's turned off lol. I restarted the car and took off from the 60 foot mark and ran a 17 something but at 120 mph which told us if I can get down the track and start the car just the once then i'm on the right track. The car was making a pinging/detonating sound the whole way down the track on the first run so after a quick chat with Aaron on the phone we supposedly put 5% more fuel in the mix trim. The second run it went 10.65 @ 125 mph but sounded even worse doing it. Another quick chat with Aaron soon pointed out I had mistakingly added 5% to the timing trim instead of mixture. With that sorted I went back out and ran 10.55 @ 126mph and the car sounded a little better but not quite right so going back to the dyno now with the new clutch that works and going to fix the tune!

Thanks to my homies Mick and Matty for their crewing duties tonight and also thanks to Dave Sidery for coming out to show his support and for attatching all his go pro's.

Big thanks to My Mum, dad and their buisness Allpave Asphalt Services for sponsoring me and thanks to all that have helped out with the car over the last couple years, Dave Butler, Aaron Roberts, Rod Penrose, any one I missed you know who you are I couldn't have done it without your help and support.

Cheers Dave!

I think that may be the head leaking dave,
bit hard to tell if that is the only noise, but from the stands, that is what it sounds like.
Could also be the wate gate.

Have a look around the barrel head joint for moisture.
