Since I've gone to the bigger catch can and even sucking in the gaskets haven't seen any oil in catch can. Sucking gaskets happens with NA engines too which is why some chose to glue and weld tabs to prevent.
Only reason previous breather filled up was due to holes in pistons. I hope I'm passed that now with the Nissan pistons I'm running.

After my accelarator jammed on at Warwick I thought it was time to do a pedal upgrade as the old ones were showing their age with plenty of slop in the shaft and bushes.

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/stanley111/WP_000632_zpsfe859916.jpg

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/stanley111/WP_000635_zpse9715a72.jpg

I got a late model set of pedals (thanks again Dave R) thinking they would pretty much go straight in. However after a trial fit I discovered that apart from different mounts the hook for the clutch on the late set is offset 66mm. (sorry for blurry photos used my phone). Also had to modify the pedal stop as well.

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/stanley111/Pedal%20upgrade/WP_000626_zps98f39624.jpg

Only one thing to do....

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/stanley111/Pedal%20upgrade/WP_000630_zps19ec6613.jpg

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/stanley111/Pedal%20upgrade/WP_000638_zps78997b41.jpg

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/stanley111/Pedal%20upgrade/WP_000640_zps1756cf94.jpg

While I was at it the cable hook was looking a bit worn.

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/stanley111/Pedal%20upgrade/WP_000628_zps9bc2354f.jpg

so fixed this as well

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/stanley111/Pedal%20upgrade/WP_000637_zps42bf3388.jpg

so after it was all fixed I now have a good set of pedals that are also lighter than the old cast ones.

Having never seen a right hand drive pedal assembly I was wondering how it mechanically looked , thanks for posting the pics. If it isn't too much trouble can you post the throttle cable hookup ? Nice job by the way. Thanks, Mike McCarthy

Thanks for the picture , pretty cool how it works. Usually I put a thin coat of teflon grease on the cable from the FORD dealer I worked at , very slippery stuff. Mike McCarthy

Turbo engine back in and runing with a new fuel pump and some new fuel lines.
Minor issue with the advance on the mitsubishi dissy so might revert back to the 009.
TnT Wednesday night weather permitting.

Aspo engine is for Jambo. Still keen to see how much I can squeeze out of a 1641. I and other people have invested time into it so keen to see it through.
I must admit i've enjoyed the aspo engine though.

Yep finally got the 100mph....just. Best time for the night was last run 12.99 @ 100.08mph (with next to no brakes). My fastest time but not best ET. 12.63 is PB with turbo engine. Had 3 other fairly consistant runs at 98ish mph.

Prior to going out I changed out the Mitsubishi dissy for a 009 because it was hard to start while trying to maintain 24deg full advance. The 009 cleared this up and I went for a conservative 22deg full advance. I had also backed the boost off a couple of PSI hence the lower ET. Had an issue with a huge flat spot with the carb under load but seemed to clear with some revs. I'll fix this before Sydney.

Had 5 full passes (including the one where I missed 2nd) one with a good wheelie and no issues with rocker gaskets or oil in the catch tank. In Sydney I'll turn the boost up a couple of PSI snd see he we go.

Thanks to DB and Pagey, Dave R and Mick for the encouragement.

Put a kit through the Holley during the week to try and get rid of the flst spot off idle. Also adjusted the acc
elerator pump and seems to be better (sorry neighbours didn't go over 50).
Spent today modifying trailer to strenthen draw bar for Sydney drive and added a winch.

Well with Sydney less than a month away the time has come to part ways with the turbo....so after Sydney, which will be the last run for the turbo engine, the complete turbo system will be up for grabs.

Setup includes draw through T02 turbo, 600 Holley with custom manifold, intake, exhaust, boost gauge and spare wastegate actuator and some other bits and pieces. NOTE....my engine is 8mm per side narrower than a stock motor so some tweaking of exhaust and intake would be required. Have a look back at this thread and you'll see what you get. If anybody from Sydney in interested I'd be happy to unbolt it and leave it behind. Does not include engine....
Thinking $500 for everything. Send me a pm if you're interested.

And for those interested the plans are to put the motor in my streeter with the IDFs and eventually fit some mechanical injection on the 2276 currently under construction. NA all the way ;)
