Theres so many photos that I took in my early days of VWness, circa 1988, that I wouldnt take photos of now. I wont talk about most of them because I
know I will be sure to offend someone on each count. I dont think anyone here has a Merc front on their car though do they?

naaah. the one on the right is the very first VW event I ever went to. It was a drag meet down in Canberra.

got the curl happening at canberra too. :P
I'm pretty sure that dave rogers, president of club vw illawarra at that time had mulholland rear guards, but it was in my infancy of VW so I
could be wrong. He didnt have the ugly square lights up front though. (just to get things back on topic)

Sigh. you new people have so much to learn :P
Its a fiberglass kit. the rear guards extended onto the rear 1/4, and they had horrible square lights. Never saw too many back then, I guess they have
all gone to graveyards now. Not a bad thing at all.
