I should start a thread 'cars killed in the name of valla'
1. telstar. oil all through the engine bay when I got home???
2. dads VK commodore. expired in blue smoke cloud somewhere around gosford I think.
3. hellbus I. dropped valve seat at Mt Isa.
4. Hellbus II. twice in one weekend. 2 dead heads and whatever else I find on the 2nd strip down.
But im not hard on cars at all.

Well
If we are gunna start on bikes, projects and company cars then I think we will need more space
Here is another one for you.. I got a letter from the council in 2001 telling me that I was going to be taken to court as I was operating as a
wrecker. When the Council guy came around to deliver it I told him that was crap. So we went for a walk around the yard and he counted 34 VWs, a
Corolla and a Hilux. mmmmmm had fun talking my way around that one.
Now I have a 2m high tin / timber fence and a few extra sheds to hide them. Oh and a wife who has suggested I stay under 10 at a time..:kiss

First road bike was & still is a 77 GS400 twin.
First car was a Ford "single spinner" hearse in the great 70's "shaggin wagon" era. But there was such an outcry about
"THAT SORT OF VEHICLE" being parked in the cul-de-sac I lived in, I sold it to a mate 4 hours later.
From there;
CA Bedford
4 or 5 HQ,s ( I really don't remember)
HJ
73 kombi (still got it)
62 baja
VB condomodore
Nissan Prairie
93 mazuda 626 (the wife,s current car).
The projects, well, there has been a bit of everything.
The most memorable was a 1938 Leyland Titan double decker bus. It's in a museum now.
Still got the 57 kombi & the country buggy.
Well my friends are gone & my hair is grey, I ache in the places where I used to play.
