I think the 105,108,110 and methanol require the teflon hoses guys.... The 102 does not.

Well put in telon hoses. Bugger all difference when using braided lines. I use teflon on all the efi engines as it is better for stable pressures at
the injectors and the higher pressures used.

Yeah, i'll be using the good hose and fittings for the system regardless.... Im just looking around as to what fuel is available to run. I think this
is a good thread, There has been alot of info bought up here that i havent managed to find on here before. I have emailed powerplus race fuels to see
what they reccomend and how much it is.
And Troy, it'd be nice to have efi! unfortunatly 2 seperate tunes on a holley just aint that easy!

That's not a bad idea.
I've seen guys in the pits pull off the $1000 JET 830 annular methanol after a trailer pass, plonk on a Holley500 with adaptor, feed it 100octane out
of a fuel jug slung off a bonnet hook, then idle the car for a couple of minutes before shutdown for the meet.
After that it's just rinsing then blowing out the lines/tank at home later.

coming out soon,hopefully.
just got my new valve springs,so just need to find some time to put it back together,
i kinda got jammed by jambo as always, everyone wants there cars finished,so the poor old junka cops second fiddle as always.
i have fuel at 102 oct,but it's realy only for streeters.and e85 is good, but regaurdless of what you hear or read it is corrosive,so meth is the
best, you can buy a couple of different kinds of meth.n1 is the same amount of work as the e-85.
coogee is alittle more matainence but worth it because it is so sooo cheap.
use what ever suits your budget.

I know how expensive c16 is , I pay $ 17.50 a gallon here locally but really my car does not use much per pass. I do not have cooling tin and drive it
back to the pits after each pass usually get about two to three passes per gallon.
If you go with alcohol make sure your complete fuel system is compatable and will not corrode or dissolve , been there and done that. Mike
McCarthy
P.S. I let a friend get his first passes in my turbo car at our race at Piedmont , after he had problems I made one pass to make sure it wasn't the
car , darn that felt good !!! I am the fat man with sunglasses hahahha

I have decided to go with pp105 race fuel, it suits my budget at the moment and down the track I can convert to meth if I want to experiment more.
Thanks.
