YAY!!!!
Real nostalgia dragbike stuff!
(Excuse the outburst, love the old bikes).

Very best wishes for the build. Jeez, that's something I WOULD travel to the other side of the world to see (or East, same as).
Good onya.

Bloody lovely! :D
I've raced drag bikes for a bit now, and always wanted to combine dak-daks and bikes, but knew it probably wouldn't happen.
Very very cool to see you back at it again.

Are you going to use offset Crower-style box and sliders, straight direct drive sliders, one of the new funny-bike trannies?

Will be interesting to see, i'm interested in what drive setup your going to use. Theres a lot of things about vw dragbikes that andra don't like but what the hell . An old friend of mine (Ronnie Scholes) still has one hangin in the rafters of his shed from memory. I remember watching some of you guys back home in Sydney back in the 60's & 70's before i got involved in Dragbike racing. These days i'm more involved in the new school style bikes ( Outlaw Sportsbikes ) but still have a soft spot for blown or inj vw db's.

Cool is in the eye of the beholder.:punk:
