Hi
I was with my son when he was being harassed by the popo, they tried to defect him for not having an H pattern on his gearknob, I had asked my RTA
engineer about this only weeks before, he said it was bogus I told the popo this and he backed down.

Yeh..
Gear nob with no H pattern?
A woman a work recently told me that her boyfriends ford ute didn't pass a roadworthy because the gear nob didn't have a H pattern on it??.....

I think that the knob may have been the roadworthy inspector.
I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

In NSW this year they brought in a law that you must give way to pedestrians when turniing into a street.
New NSW Laws
I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

Perfect example of what i am talking about, does this rule apply to heavy vehicles also? God knows that its easier to stop a semi
than to look left and right before crossing the road.

The way I see it, the roads don't belong to me. They belong to someone else and they say I can use them if I pay my annual fees to the road owners
and follow the rules that are set by the road owners. If I ever decide I have a problem with following the same rules as everyone else who pays their
fees, then maybe I'll just start catching the bus or train. Or I suppose I could just bitch and whine about my freedom being stripped from me because
I'm not allowed to do what I want when I want to like a spoilt little brat.

fines, speeding fines, parking fines... before you know it there will be smoking in car fines. Where does it end?
Its unfortunate that we havent got a healthy culture of protest in Australia, imagine this scenario... highly unlikely!

maybe if they didn't have laws to protect people over stupid stuff then we wouldn't have a generation(degeneration) of dumb s#its and the population
would be a lot less.
I recon dumb people should be allowed to kill them selves from there own stupidity. It would solve a lot of world problems

Correct me if im wrong but the UK already have fines for smoking in company cars, I vaguely remember(hey it was a wedding reception ) last I was in London a self employed feller, removable business
magnets on his personal car, got done for havin a fag in it.........easy money really

highway patrol are fully trained for this, regular police aren't, at least in vic thats how it is.
