Second child two years later...
I've realised as I'm posting these I didn't take enough photos. I'll edit this when i get a better engine shot.

Rear Running gear. The gearbox is the biggest question mark. I didn't crack it (and don't know how as its a split box). I guess we'll find out when
shes up and running...

Working on the front end now. I forgot how tight those brake shoe springs are! Also I bought the link and king pins from VW Heritage on the UK. They
are not worth a penny. They took some much work to get any where near right that youre better off paying double. VW heritage are generally pretty good
though.

Having trouble with the fixed size drag link (the one that doesnt have adjustable tie rods only fixed). Do the tie rods come out or is the unit
replaced as a whole? Im pretty close to breaking the rod and the tie ends arent coming out...
Updates engine pics.
The odd wiring is due to out of Van engine running. Im just going to bolt it to the trans axle since its already out and see how it goes.

Slow progress. The engine started very pain free but the Carb immediately started leaking (badly) from the shaft. Anyone have a fix? It seems new
bushes are the solution but have no idea who could do that.

The dizzy clips are also shot. They seem to be very hard to find. Zip ties are holding it down but it seems to move too much rotationally.
