Cutting the rear fenders and running some super wide rears would top it off. I'm guessing you don't want to do any body work that isn't easily
reversible?

It needs only one thing -- -- A old Hilborn Mechanical Fuel Injection system installed with the stacks sticking about 150-200 mm above the back deck
-- There's usually a set on the Samba for sale so I could show you the look, but not right now, ....
You could probably get the same look with some very tall intakes, dual webers, and some tall stacks on top of them

I was trying to find the picture of this ghia with out the covers over the injector hats, but I can't -- maybe you can get what I'm thinking
