Yes, I too would be interested in a fully costed & time frame involved analysis of a correct & legal wide 5 disc brake conversion on a link
pin beetle.
Thus all the VW outlaws now out there, can safely cruise this wide brown nanny state via the road of self righteousness with our head held high and
our wallets empty. My2c lol

Concept, selection of rotors, discussion with engineer, cad drawings of front and back aluinium billet hubs, approval of billet hubs drawings by
engineer, machining of front and back billet hubs, discussion with engineer about selection of calipers to suit 20mm thick rotors and use standard
master cylinder, purchase calipers, cad drawings of caliper brackets, approval of caliper brackets by engineer, machining of caliper brackets,
conditions of installation by engineer, IE type and grade of bolts to be used, completeion of installation, inspection of brakes and test, because of
all the effort involved the car passed the brake teast first time along with the correct back to front brake bias, resalts, a vehicle that is blue
plated and legal on the road in Queensland, time frame, six months, cost of approval $450.00, this included a seat change and two seat conversion,
seat belt installation and engine capacity increase all done at the same time. Do not be in denial about the legal implications of vehicle
modifications as there is alway potential for that accident to happen. those who think otherwise are fooling thenselves.
