Paddy's getting way too many pressies Bert.
Ours is doing a short run to Jamestown on Monday for Alf to give her a tune. Then hopefully down to Day of the Volkswagen on the weekend.

Here you go Terry what was in the box yesterday.

Aftermath of replacing the seat adjuster cams was that the seat runner guides were knackered but working so bit the bullet and ordered them .... seats should slide nice and freely now once installed and a bit of moly grease -

http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k115/bwright_03/DSC01043.jpg

Rear Tail Light Seals are hard and brittle so new set also - mmmmm nice & soft & flexible -

http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k115/bwright_03/DSC01047.jpg

Pedal rubbers also iffy so a set of VW Brasil ones, then while I managed to get a fan shroud timing hole plug from Grumble ISPWest had new ones so bit bullet for it also & as the sterring column didn't have a lock clip got a good 2nd hand one as well -

http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k115/bwright_03/DSC01046.jpg

Deciding on whether to swap these out asap or wait for the itmes from Germany and Netherlands to arrive then entertain a 79 yo friend who is by himself and loves playing with old cars ...... think it'll be the latter option to give him something different to do

Also have found some NOS in the VW box lower sill "rocker" moulding clips - these are the original plastic ones .... bought some metal ones that replaced these ones but I don't think they hold the moulding as close to the sill/body. Only had to do one side when rear torsion bar had to be reset to fix ride height issue but have noticed the left side plastic ones may need attention soon. Some thinking on this to do :spin::starhit::smirk:

Pedal pads are no good to me but you can box the rest up and mail them! :starhit:
Seriously though, who did the seat runner guides and the taillight rubbers come from? Our guides are in a few pieces and the light are only average.
Got one new lens from Denver, after another one so I can make the tail look nicer.
I got some of the plastic clips from Volks Factory in Adelaide a couple of years ago. They were pretty cheep too.

Finally installed the German VDO Instruments/Gauges after some wiring issues with the Australian Made TYpe3 having these wired differently.
All 3 work great and worth the expense and effort to change them over.
KM SPeedo with Trip Meter, Clock & Fuel Gauge which now has the indicators working seperately to each other for R & L Turns

Yeah Terry they do - the wood rim wheel didn't have a cancellation ring when I bought the Fasty but got one from Mick Motors, Northgate Qld - boss for the wheel had holes drilled and tapped for it to be fitted - secrued by 3 flat head screws.

If your's don't then every chance it's the horn contact/cancellation ring (Part Number 113415660A .... looks like this https://au.vwheritage.com/113415660a-turn-signal-cancel-ring-t1-8-70-79-t2-74-79 ) has broken the tab that cancels the indicator. You'd have to pull the steering wheel to check it out.

Thanks Bert. Want to get the horn contacts sorted so the wheel will be apart anyway. Just makes the whole job worthwhile.

Terry, happy to help ..... anything else just let me know ..... oh the copper ring on the cancellation ring is the horn contact if you wondering - you have a contact on the indicator stalk also.

Thought I'd reposted pictures on here - tried a work around with the botophucket pics but even an edit tells me I have to add text - not sure why typing words does not constitute text. Frustrating
