Yeah well if you do come up stay away from Surfers, you have to have slopy eyes to fit in up there now. much better staying a bit south with the

Last time I was up that way we stayed at Kirra Beach and then visited friends up at Nambour ,Nth of Brissie:thumb
My friends have been trying to get me to visit for the last 1 1/2 years so I should soon.
Hated Surfer's itself, but the market was OK along the foreshore or what ever they called
In my walking days we used to camp at O'Reilly's in/at Lamington National Park, brilliant spot then (? now)
Still love to walk/trek
Have very fond memories of Brissie |

Loved Byron when I've been there
Had my girlfriends son form London and his mate stay for a few months before they did the big 'round Oz in their Gap year. They stayed for some
time in Byron, and Jason got a tat on his ankle:party
We have so many backpackers that head up that way through YHA:thumb
Nimbin had changed last time I was up that way
Mmmmm, there used to be people who made the best clothing out of spun raw silk, and sold it at the markets around that way:kiss |

Nah, it's been a few years now since I was there but knew the area fairly well.
Last time I was there I went out on a boat with my daughter and snorkelled around the rock off shore. She was holding my hand as we swam around. I
could hear these muffled screams, and saw the startled eyes. We had a small shark swimming below us, it decided to leave :thumb |
