JVC Head unit ... get a round turny volume knob ... hat ethose push button volume control - they're cheap and ugggh !!
JVC head unit - also allows for BIG expansion - as in putting in Kombi Theatre system - DVD- Carputer - nice 17"LCD screen mmmMMMmmm
Go the JVC ... plus they don't cost limbs like the some of the others ... in fact they forced the price of mp3 decks down !

i am running a eight stack to two 6" 2ways, two 6x9 3ways via a 600 watt amp and two 12" subs via a 660 watt amp in the splitty. had to get
the tacho working fast as i cant hear a damn thing over the bass.
