Lots of positions...
Hiya!
They advertise on a weekly basis for TOPLESS waitresses here in Brisbane. So just get a softtop kit installed and drive food from table to table! I
don't know if they pay for your petrol tho', and those clubs must be absolutely HUGE to fit all those cars in.
BOL!
By the way, since returning to Australia after 7 years in Europe, I am unemployable in the Oz media industry, because I am apparently overqualified.
Beat that! :cry
Now I have a Wife, 2 Kids, and a Bay to support on next to nothing. Things can only get better, just gotta think outside the cube Babe!

Theres plenty of jobs down here too.
Women 18 years and over required for erotic massage, no experience necessary....
I have done the tim tam taste test. Line up the arnotts variety and then the Aldi variety. I swear to you that you wont be able to tell the difference
with your eyes closed. The cheaper aldi ones actually look better! ripply on top chocolate instead of dunked in a pot of hot chocolate like arnotts.
Bargain. I actually ate a whole packet for dinner one night. BUT! dont try aldi's coco pops. Disgusting.

Hmm yes I'm currently getting the your overqualified crap
"You'd be bored mate"
"Well I like to eat - MATE"
Can you believe I'm having to lie on my resume to get interviews ?
I've heard of ppl adding things but never of taking things off !
anyway I can remember the days at uni getting by on eating rice and gravy for the odd week I was lucky though and found some indian transport caffs in
manchester where you could get a good meal for a pound - you had to climb over garbage bags to get down the laneway and rats running around (the
laneway) was a bit scarey but they cooked in front of you and it tasted great.
I remember my posh / rich mate inviting me for a cup tea in his bedsit and he got out 2 teabags cut the top off them and emptied the leaves into 2
cups ! He'd never made tea for himself before leaving home (His mum always did it) and he thought that the bags were just individual portions.
I dont know the relevence of that last story - but it always makes me smile

If it makes you feel any better, when you go to cancel austudy payments it only takes 1 phone call and 2 minutes.

Studying sucks ! I am currently doing a masters as well as working full time so I know what you mean when you don't want to work so that you can get
good grades. I am always sliding my assignments in by the skin of my teeth ! Health sciences hey ? what are you majoring in ?????
As for work ..... don't worry, find your cutest lecturer, bat your eyelids and presto ! rich professor who gives you a head start on all the notes
.... and NO this advice is NOT from personal experience ! |

I took up pizza delivery when times got tough. I enjoyed the job, even though it did not pay huge.
4 nights a week gave me about $200. It would have cost about $30 in petrol, but tips covered a fair bit of that.
Not to mention the pizza I got to eat.
Another alternative is something like say - jelly wrestling entertainment. Some people get a bit thingy and say it is rude, but it is a more
politically correct party entertainment. I know a guy who runs a jelly wrestling show thing down here in Melb and the girls get paid between $100-$150
for an hours work. In a bikini not nude. Yes he does have topless but they charge accordingly.
He even does office parties and 15 y/o birthdays (gear on for this one)
Umm yes he does have guys available for the girls too.
On the smoking. Well
My wife and I gave up on the spot and never smoked again.
When we went to visit my sister in Merimbula. Her boyfriend was telling us about how he had to go and have half his tongue cut out due to cancer from
rollies at age 38. We smoked rollies also, but threw the packet out and that was two years ago.

Poor Gatesey!
I told him that he shouldn't've bought that split. Too much work I said, and the cash you have to put in.
Man! Now a Saab owner is the richest dude. At least Gatesey travels in style. All the way to hell. Whine!

Maybe we're doing the wrong thing?
There is a story (myth perhaps) that microsoft #2 whoever he is, was asked to go to a function at some business school. When asked if he had any
advice for students he said "Drop out. Non of the big CEO's went to school. Only the vice CEO's."

heheheh, thanks guys...
looks like i got a job...no showing of tits or wrestling in jelly required...yay.....cleaning this lady's house and doing a bunch of ironing....cash
in hand...yay....sounds good to me...housework is no big deal.....wahoo...!
just no telling centrelink......hmmm.....what i cant undersand is why they make it so hard for ppl to claim payments...i can believe that ppl do rip
them off...i just cant believe that its such a big deal....i mean if anyone is going to be a dole "bludger" ..its hardly a crime...living it up on
300 bucks a fortnight....it is hardly a life of luxury....just dont get it why they make it so hard for you on austudy...less payment that the dole or
youth allowence....and no entitlement to rent assistance? go figure? they told me that once i am over 25 and decide to return to study (if it is
tertiary based, longer than 1 year and not directly leading to ajob) it is my choice and my responsibilty. fair enough, to some extent, but arent i
doing them a "favor" byt trying to educate myself, and therefore (hopefully) be less likely to unemplyed in the futre?
hmmm. its all too much. and yes one ph call will cancel what has taken 12 weeks and a truck load of stationary/phonetime/interviews to organise.
i just really feel for the ppl who have to deal with centrelink, and have children/dependants to care for too.
and thanks frenix, for the chill pill! sorry, left your name off before...not intential at all -- thanks!!!!
and ms cabrio l am majoring in public health at the moment (hence the rant before re:access to health for all australians) but am trying to upgrade
into nutrition-dietics (i once had a great op...then stuffed it up by stuffing up my BA..oh well...)
will catch up with you sson drew - at caloundra no doubt...!
thanks for all the moral support xxxxxxxxthor

hey lil dub.
didnt realise you were so down. was jsut having the usual aussie bite. sorry babe and hope you do get thru well.
i remember when i first started working and i had that little money that i spent the first nine months of my working career sleeping on park benches
or at central railway station here in sydney every weekend. well that was if i didnt get a bed/breakfast pickup when i managed to sneak into the
nights clubs. had to jump rail fences or photocopy pases to get by, and yes also ate at the missions every now and then. amazing what you discover
talking to the old and homeless.
let me say that in a few years after you have completed your study and you start to earn a dollar you will look back fondly at all the fun and
experiences you had in jsut getting by, and it will make you a good person as you didnt give in and that it wasnt given to you and you earnt and did
it all.
accept my appologies with a kind heart as it is sincere and i will buy you a meal/ or maybe a swapmeet part for your T3 at a vw meet if we catch up.
:kiss

awwwww....thanks twoguns.....thats ok.....was grumpy arse feeling sorry for myself anyway...i know the smoking is gunna kill me eventually...and yeah
its a waste of money...but it really is the only "luxury" in my life......that and buying expensive shampoo and conditioner for my hair.....(though
i did go the "cheapo" schwarzkorf last time i indulged)
and yes, stenguns, if only i could find a sugar daddy.......if only he looked like sean connery.....it would be FINE....it would be AWESOME....and it
would be a done deal.......actually....i would even settle for anthoney lapalgia...or george negus (eek...thats kinda scary now that i say it out
loud).....and that guy from backberner, whatever his name is, someone Berner...he's nice.... but alas no, sugar daddies fall in to the same category
as jelly wrestling...nice idea....very bad reality. (see its the appeal of glucose in the title...i reallly am starving heheheh) |
