The Split is a 56 converted using a genuine roof section.
The car was built to run the 25th anniversary of the London to Sydney Marathon... which it completed in the early 90s.
Its now running a type 4 engine fitted with a supercharger.

Yeah that Split is a nice Car.
I have a GT Falcon Video that has a some Footage of that London to Sydney Race.
I might have another look at it now.

Thanks for the Photos Guys... Great work...
I can't remember much of last year... but it seemed to be better this year..... good crowd... different cars, great Swap Meet.. lots of VW parts
Businesses about.. I think a lot of people come LOOK & go, where Us Genuine VW people stay there all day....

Well it's not true, GREEN57 posted his pictures here as well, but some of the pictures I posted had to many KBs.
So Brad deleted them, I didn't do it on purpose, I didn't know they could be posted if they were over 50 KB.
