This photo was taken in a workshop in Perth recently..
It's my front end extender being welded up after arriving from the U.S...

uuuhhhmmm.. Ok Simon...
Here's the wheels that will be going on the car...
They are 1933 Chev 17" wire wheels that are about to have the centres changed to VW 4 stud, then they will be sand blasted or acid dipped before being powder coated Bright Red...
They will be fitted with "Big and Littles" to give the car a bit of a rake... Not sure if I will put white walls or blackies on there yet...
I was able to get the original hub caps to go with them, which are stainless stell skin over steel backing and clips, so they will polish up nice...

And this is my bike....:P

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v118/AllCarTowing/stuff/46345a1d.jpg

Back to the car... Once I get around to doing the roof chop, it will most likely be getting a factory rag installed and I really want to put in a split rear window, (If I can get an oval, I'll probably modify it into a split)...

I'd also like to change it to suicide doors, but every where I turn someone says,"That's a Huge amout of work"... "Don't start it, you'll never finish"....
So I might leave that for now....

As you know we have to run some sort of guards on our cars here, so I bought a set of fibreglass ones which had been fitted to a 1929 Ford Model A Hiboy Roadster...
They need a little cutting down, but being glass, that's a Very easy thing to do...
They will only be on the car for occasional road use and will be left at home for shows and the like...
I have left them to collect dust and hold up boxes atm, but they're ready and waiting...
Here's one for you to seeeeee.......

And below is the donor car...
It's a 1970 Beetle that my Uncle bought Brand New and kept till about 7 years ago, when he offered it to me...
I advertised it on this forum once, not so long ago, and no one wanted to give me the very low 3 figure sum that I was asking, so I kept it...

Seen enough...???
It should be going in to the workshop soon..
Murray was talking about filming the build up for a segment on cruizin'...!!!
Let the cutting begin...

We will also be submitting one to Reno in Welshpool to get them approved for use...
Stayed tuned on that one...
