but it went like the clappers good conversion. the guy at sharpbuilt does a good job its just that hes not always reliable in sending parts

Well I got the body off today, getting ready to do the lift kit.
All bolts came undone very easily and once the body was off, there is virtually no rust whatsoever....

Basically what I'm doing but Im stickin with full fenders/valances (I cant bring myself to cut them off)
How did you bend the front and rear sections of the lift kit?? Torch it and bend?
Are you sticking with swing axle?

The front section of the lift kit was cut from plate steel with a strip welded top and bottom, the rear was just cut and welded to get the shape

As for keeping it swingaxle, no, I'm currently converting it to IRS, I've got the pivot boxes tacked in place, just need to sort out the rear shock towers to clear the trailing arms and then fit the kombi box

Hay graham i got a new baja a irs 1500 and im going to lift it so if ya make me one ill buy ya a 6 pack well allright 2 anyway have you looked for the mounting kits for kombi boxes i have a book here that gives you an idea but i dont know if it would be easyer to make it or work for the money to buy it
