3/1/2005 - GET LOST WOOLY!

http://www.ecdclubs.com/alex/beetle/p1010228.JPG

this is the wooly crap that came with the car. it may look good, but over the years it's picked up heaps of stains. and the sun's killed it... whenever you touch it heaps of flakey stuff will come off and may end up in your lungs...

so thanks to john(limbug) i had a new set of "stuff" to put in the car

I've never done anything like this before, but since I could no longer stand the wooly crap, I started ripping this sh!t out

wooly crap gone! behind the carpet glue i can see the original white colour which was very nice

ripping the roof carpet took the longest... the glue was just so strong

I decided not to remove the rear windows, because
1. i didnt know how to
2. I didn't have new rubbers to put in
3. I didn't know how to put windows back in
4. I thought I could do it without
