I think you may have missed lugnuts' point. He was getting at the fact that if you kept increasing your offer by the same value, you would have made the original asking price by the time you got to "Another 13 posts".

This is ridiculous, give the man a break, they are rebuilt and an absolute bargain. Put it on the trading post in Melbourne if you have to Ali and be done with it. All the best!
AL
p.s. There are quite a few people building VW engined trikes in Melbourne and they all seem to run the Kadrons, I sold mine quickly via this method.

The only bit I needed to read was the first post: "excellent condition (brand new throttle butterflies and re-bushed shafts) and come with linkage, air-cleaner assemblies (filter element required) and dual-port manifolds.
$495"

If I didn't already have a spare set, I'd be buying them. And I don't need no pics to convince me!:kiss

Well doesn't that make you such a fantastic human being. I feel honoured to be in the e-presence of such an honest and trusting person. Accept my humble apologies, because it's obvious that the fact that you wouldn't require any more pictures to convince you that you would buy a product was worth your noting, even though you have absolutely no interest in buying it at all. Thank you for not wasting mine, nor even primate's time, and pointing this out for us.

I'm glad it's not me trying to sell the Kads, I would have cracked the shits by now with all the silly questions and stupid offers. There Kads and there worth the $500 easy. Call around and check out the price for a new set, you'll be verry suprised, there almost on par with webbers.

Big deal how much they cost or how much they are worth, I have made an offer if it is not accepted so what! I can always get some when It suits me...But I love a bargain maybe when the kid's get hungrier my offer will be accepted!
I have Kad's in the Kombi I paid $750 for them, but they came with a 1916 complete ready to drop in That was 2 years ago and it is still running great
Silver loves a bargain..
