I don't think you can change the front end??
It is indipendent rear suspension.

Ypu have to weld on a new head. A LOT of work

motor has 040 on heads pink dots of paint on valve springs.Case has oval mechine to fit 93.93 barrells & piston.Flywheel appears to be
balanced.Crank has 8 dowls to mount flywheel .

thats so funny.
I sold all the parts,, motor , trans , body kit for more then the price whole vw.
so I was able to keep the body and do some improvements . I have had this bug for nearly 14 years now.
so I guess its NOT for sale .
