I just wanted to confirm - that everyone one knew it wasn't me that screwed Andy - as my name is on the for sale post. I put in on this site - for a guy who lives nearby.

Just didn't want anyone thinking I was a bastard !!!!!!!!!

Where/when were double doors an option? Panels only or something? I reckon that's such a cool concept. Any chance that someone made a double door microbus? Probably not hey. Can a bus be converted (say if it was rusty already and stuff)?

I drove wezley down last weekend to pick-up/look at the double door in my own 74 bus. She's a little ratty, but never really had any trouble with her. Has always been a daily driver for me and we had a understanding. We probably put in nearly 150 kms that day and wezley and I were just keen to get to this controversial yellow van. The deal was done and my rat (loosely termed) sounded great on the return trip, knowing that soon, there would be a new member in the fraternity. Little did we know as wezley and i discussed the finer points of his new factory sun-roofed bus that this would be her last hah-rah. Yesterday my Kombi died and i shed a tear for the end of my 6 year relationship. "It's terminal" I was told " you've got to move on." I will, but I'll do it knowing that she did it for me, her last great drive.... and happy in the knowledge that the baton has been passed on to a brighter, fresher, more exciting friend. What a sacrifice. That's how I'll remember her. Goodbye old friend.
Now has anyone got a type3 squareback or kombi for sale?

city-slicker hey.......
I'll be honest David, I got a bit of a shock when i saw it, but I'm sure it can be selvedged. What's it's history prior to the camper conversion. Milk truck or something? I sit better than it looks. Am i safer staying in the city?!

that red kombi above is david's yeah, in albury? well the photo is from him
He mentioned the white twin slider earlier and this (i think) is what he came back with. But i think the question still needs to asked: is the twin slider for sale?
