Seems the more money I spend the rattier it gets. Had to pull the left front quarter forward alost two inches which revealed a heavily crumpled and bogged-up fender. Replacement was quickly found, but it's getting rattier by the day :thumb

Here's the revised ride height with dropped spindles and 175/65s front and 195/65s rear:

Could do with a bit more though, what do you reckon? :thumb

is there a program that allows you to draw up Beetles and the such (referencing your previous post of the ragtop). How much did the brakes + droping cost?

Cheers mate!

E:
Dropped spindles cost about $570
Disk kit was $150 or so at DOVW.

Plus fitting and your right arse cheek starts to feel quite warm.

I've got some spare rotors if you want them. Then you'd need spindles and calipers and you'd be set!

Popouts are in. One side took 1/2 an hour and I thought: "Oh, that's ok. The other side will be quicker. Bent hinge, an hour and a half, and one gagging fit later (torch in mouth and two screw-drivers) the other one was in. Serves me right for getting cocky!

And no-it's not a super, but it is a 74 according to the compliance plate but flat windscreen and bj-disk front end. I'm only in it for the pan really and I assume it's gonna be ok?

Still needs to be dropped a bit more and hopefully should have a semi-auto pan for her soon.

Pity about the rag but that might turn out ok too...

Working on it Don. Hopefully at the end of the year it will be getting:

Semi-auto pan
Steel sliding sunroof
narrowed adjustable beam
Paint work.

Just got to justify/find the cash.
