Woo! My new struts are on the way. From V-Force, 4" lowered with eccentric strut tops and gas inserts. These babies should be a nice upgrade for my
ride. I should have them in before the Jamboree on the 17th so all you folk coming along can have a gawk

Eyelids went on today. These are the biggest pain to fit! I had to snip and bend then to shape. Horrible job but it turned out all right.

Thanks Barry.
There is so much more to do but it's getting there. I try and do at least one more thing new on it for each show, even it is just little.
I think it's really cool when you go to shows and see the same car but it has something new done to it, much nicer than seeing the same cars (nice as
they may be) exactly the same each show.

Thanks for all the comments guys!
The next thing to do is rear suspension. It needs firming up. The front is handling really well now.
Next accessory will be pop-outs I think. Gotta save up though.
I also need a bit of paintwork done and the rear apron fixed as well. I guess you could call my car a daily driver/on-going project!

Excuse the 5min photoshop. This is what I'm thinking for the side. I need to repaint the window edges anyway as the paint is chipping off due to poor
prepwork. Very gloss black.

This weekend I repainted my headliner with vinyl dye. A lot of masking and a little bit of patience and this is the result.

Great Job, that looks awesome!
I wouldn't do the black side thing as I think your car has enough subtle statements to make it stand out without the need to do something obvious.
You don't see too many Ls as clean as yours around.

love the black window surrounds, really different.
Just looked at ya new wheels too, they barely get in the front guards. how much negative camber are you running?

As far as negative camber goes I havn't measured it. But I would estimate it to be around 1-2 degrees. I also have 185/60 rubber on the front so
there is no rubbing. Speedo is about 4-5% out as a result of the smaller diameter.

My lovely girlfriend Pretty_Blue_Bug got me these as a present on the weekend. They are (were) NOS German fingerplates. Fitting them was a breeze and
now no need to worry about scratching my paint.

Thanks Barry. It was a good shot hey, it just happened that he pulled up next to mine. He was very interested in how I lowered it and wanted to do his
own. His super was a 71 and completely original, no rust, he's the second owner and bought it from his Aunt who got it new.
How's your car going?
