Hi, couple of Q's from a potential buyer
Engine
Does it run ?
When did it last run?
Will it need a new muffler and J pipes?
Will it need new plugs,points ,leads, oil, filters,service, or has this already been done?
Does the generator work?
Any major oil leaks?
Gearbox
Selects gears?
Will the Mounts need replacing?
Will the boots need replacing?
Fresh gearbox oil?
Do the axle seals need replacing?
Brakes
Have they been used /serviced recently?
Will the Master Cylinder need replacing?
Will the wheel Cylinders need replacing?
Will the shoes need replacing?
Are the drums within machining limits?
Will the brake lines need replacing?
Suspension
Will the shocks need replacing?
Will all the rubber bushes and stops need replacing?
Will it need new tierod ends?
Will it need new King/link pins?
Wheel bearings all OK?
Does the steering box still have adjustment?
Rubbers
Will the window rubbers need replacing?
Will the door rubbers need replacing?
General condition of the rest of te rubbers?
Chrome and trims
Condition of the chrome?
Trim still Aluminium ?
Will the bumpers need rechroming?
I can see it needs new paint and interior work,that's fine as I have another interior and can do the paint myself.
I assume you have all the log books etc?
Sorry for the Q's, but this will help for my budgeting and will help you sell the car quicker.:kiss

umm a 54 but not all there, has all pannels but no motor and some seats need new heater channel, and der is another 56 i think that is missing doors
and bootlid bit is another mad body! and one more that i havent see and dont know the con

Nah that was a different 57 oval that had also not been registered in NSW since 1985 that sold for $1000 around the same time as this one.
Wouldn't possibly be this one, this sight is about helping your fellow vdubber not ripping them off blind.
