I heard the front beam in the single cab may be gone. So will be hard to move. On that note if anyone is going can you get me a shot of the roof as i
need the roof section for my single cab.

I went down there and had a good look.
I will post pics after Ive had my sweet lamb chops for dinner.
What is down there is well worth the trip if you are after some cheap stuff. Or free stuff.
I saw 3 kombis, 1 dual cab 1 single cab and 1 van.
All are rusted out beyond belief and the only good bits will be the odd bit of glass and the beams, wheels etc.
Not really salvagable as cars but good for parts.
You will have to bring some tools, a jack and a healthy love of working on cars in the scrub. Great spot actually, across from the beach.
Type 3 nuts should get their arses down there pronto if you are after spares or even a single complete fastback which is going very cheap.
Lots of type 3 stuff, panels, wheels, gearboxes by the dozen and bumpers etc.
The guys are not after big money for this stuff, they just want it gone and if you saw it all you'd see why.
As of this arvo everything was still available and first come first served on the weekend will score well.
It was good fun poking around this graveyard of vw's most of which have well and truly bonded back with nature.

Someone please cut the roof off that single cab for me. I'll be your friend forever. Though that's probably a bad thing. Probably not able to get
down there on the weekend. For small cuts and it's off. Front a pillars and then the b pillars. Too easy. Though it is probably all rust through on
top.

The roof looks ok but hard to tell with all the vegetation around.
Bit of a shame really, I was told a story of neglect and unfinished projects.
Now they are just taking up room and they need removal.
