Ultimate favourite is Violent Femmes - I get to feel 17 again!!!
Unfortunately, I have to wait until it comes on the radio, because my tape deck eats tapes.
Walter wants a CD player for Xmas - but then the car might become worth stealing - not sure if the risk is worth it!!!

Anything recorded before 1985 is fine, but I prefer '60s and '70s, particularly Aussie bands.
The Easybeats, Daddy Cool, Little River Band, Hush, Skyhooks, Sherbet, Ray Brown and the Whispers, Rob E G, the Deltones, Men at Work, Mental as
Anything. Does anyone remember William Shakespeare (My Little Angel and Can't Stop Myself From Loving You?)
And the Beach Boys of course.

Normally just the engine singing at 6000, or the radio on my mobile phone. But for those coast cruises with a full car can't beat the portable
stereo with a bit of opm, 3 doors down, pennywise, smash mouth, living end. so got to get a stereo!!!! |

I'm with Phil... Wolf likes music from when he was young
Ohh.. plus The Beatles of course!
Stereo is sounding dodgy at the moment though.. anything that didn't have a weird whooshing sound in it would be nice! (CD OR radio!!)

My CD player doesnt know whats going on. I listen to everything apart from classical, jazz and opera.
I play a fair bit of country (mostly Kasey Chambers at the moment) + a fair bit of midnight oil, hunters and collectors are probably my all time
favourite, ACDC, dont mind the violent femmes myself either(they play the hellbus themesong ".. standing on the corner waiting for a
buuuuuuuuus..." ok so its got nothing in common except the word "bus" but I like the beat and its quite silly just like myself) then I
get poppy and listen to stuff like michelle branch, vanessa amorosi, anastacia and then I get moody and listen to lighthouse family, jewel and then
the wiggles and Hi-5 get a run occasionaly too. Somewhere in amongst all that goes macey gray. Dunno what she would be classed as. When I get bored
with all them I put triple J on but I gotta confess I dont like quite alot of it.
My 60's stuff (not much there) is on vinyl. Doesnt play too good in the car.
