My thoughts exactly.
PMGBUS is selling the same small back window buses that need less work for $1700.
Stll all need sills, outriggers nose ect, ect.
Cheers

i thought that id add some of the pics that he sent me so you get a small idea of the damage....but i was never told of the roof cut!!!i could easilly
fix this kombi as i have a near PERFECT whole front section from a 56 splitty but as said im not willing to spend $5k on a car that im not able to see
in the flesh....especially if so many important info on it has been "hidden"(in my opinion.

it in its current condition unless its from somebody from the uk or a really keen aussie.but if it wasnt for the accident i think that it would have
been a jem of a splitty!!!if anybody is goiong to buy this car please go and check it out in the flesh for your self first as somebody previously
mentioned.smart man thanks for the warniing

What`s with the forklift in the last shot?!!
That`s fuckin barbaric!
Who the hell is gonna pay $5G for a Split that`s been treated like that??
Just coz it`s got Safari`s.
Buy some new ones from Creative.
Bloody rip off if you ask me.

If thats worth $5k then your is worth $10k
I think he is kidding himself. Do the bidders know its got a hole cut in the roof, have they seen the damage.
Worth about $200.
Cheers

good on ya chook shed!!!just saw that question on the site and thats one of the other things that was trying to be hidden from the future buyer.....i
think thats why he wants payment AS SOON AS THE AUCTION IS OVER....so that the fure owner gets`stuck with a missrepressented item!!!i would not have
had a problem with the whole thing if everything was out in the open from the start.
seeing as you can post up to 12 photos on ebay per auction these days for an extra $1 or $2 (which should be manditory when selling cars
worth over $1000 in my opinion!)...just my thoughts.if it were such a great buy then where are all the bids from the uk???but as said before if it
wasnt for the accident i think it would never have been offered on ebay aus...it would already be in the uk!!
and when i spoke to him just after listing it i asked him if he was into selling old vws(because i checked his feedback and saw that he sold
a volvo with a splity ute in the backgroung)and he told me that he clears deceased estates `and they just seem to fall in his lap?????i think hes
trying to play "dont know anything about this stuff"

i did some sums on the van and i think the the van is worth $5000 if u parted it out. i am not saying i would do this, but this is where the price is
coming from i think. anyone planning on bidding, check it out in person, a flight to adelaide is cheap insurance.

What pisses me off is that this bloke is a dealer, he knows what is needed to repair the bus and he also knows what pictures he should have put on,
but he hasnt, WHY?????
Not mentioning the hole in the roof should give you a clue to what he is like.
Would you buy something of someone who hides such important information?????
Just my opinion.
Cheers
Dave

Sadly, it appears to go with the territory!!
The bloke selling the split appears to be much like some of the older, unscrupulous rip-off murchants trading on the north-east of Brisbane, in the
northgate area! For some reason these blokes are still in business!?

I went and saw a bloke a few streets away from me last night, he just bought a 63 panel van, all there with a 1600, needs usual like the outer sills
both sides and someone has chopped the rear arches, but it is really straight and should be on the road in a few weeks.
Cost him
$200
Cheers
Dave.
