Not sure about the 1/4. Maybe a 13 flat at about 110. I actually have 165 at the wheels too, not 225. I was a little over zellus with my
guestimate, but thats still very decent power for a 1641cc engine.
I'll be doing some g-tech runs(no drag strip in cairns) to get an idea, plus there's a guy with a 13.5 sec skyline that wants to give me a race some
time so we'll se how it goes i guess...

i imagine that skyline suffers some serious wheelspin yeah? if thats the 450rwhp one you are on about.
cos 450rwhp + 13.5 doesnt equate to me without copius amounts of wheelspin.

Hi Ian
I have a 65 Type 3 Notch that I am fitting 944 Turbo brakes to. They bolt on rear and using and using 73 type 3 front axles all I needed was a spacer
for the bearings.
But I want to fit Cup 2's like you.
What widths and offsets are your wheels.
Thanks,
Calcool

15mm rear spacers, but I'm using short rear axels. You probably won't need spacers at all on the rear considering the rear axels on the T3 are
longer than the early T1's.
Also, the o-ring goes behind the aluminium caliper mount/emergency brake plate, between the plate and the 4 bolt axel flange. I also used some
loctite ultra grey when assembling it, as a lot of danielzink from the german look forum had issues with oil leakage. I don't!
Hope that helps,

Hi Ian
Thanks for the fitting tip info.
I would really like to know what widths and offsets your wheels are though so I can start looking to get a set as I think I will need 2 sets of fronts
from a 930.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks again,
Calcool

CUP2's are off a 993 porsche. They are 17x7 ET55 front and 17x7.5 ET47 rears. Both are genuine porsche wheels just from a diferent year of car.
The rears are actually hollow spoke and the fronts are thinner spokes, but solid.
The 993 cup2 wheel is the lightest of all the CUP 1,2,3 series wheels. As for tracking down a set, try http://www.performance9.com.au
They do porshe dismanteling and are very competitively priced. They can supply hubcentric wheel spacers too.

Hey tyson,
Go and put a cuppa on, get a comfy chair and head to the drag racing section of this forum- "project no budget"
It's come quite a long way...

Thanks man, I have read through the pages and not spotted yet. I like the original big ones that were on the car when it was silver.
