I think they are later seats. I will get some pics and post today as I have these close.
This car now has 350 on its head (roof) if anyone want to take over the parting out.
Be a shame to break it mind :-(

i don't know but the first Beetle produced outside of Germany was made in Ireland in 1950 and that's RHD!

The first "Beetle" was produced in 1939.
There were prototypes built strating a few years before that.
The Wolfsburg factory was out of action until the mid to late 40`s as it was bombed by the Poms, then they rebuilt it.
I think the first of the post war "export" Beetles were produced in 1948.

Don't know something a bit more worth while than 50 bucks each, to make it worth the pain of getting them off. Quite keen to keep the doors and a few
other bits really.
The main reason why for the way it was going on ebay I decided to pull.
For that sort of money I might as well keep all the good bits I want and give the rest away ;-)
