Was it the constant drooling from everybody that gave it the surface rust :) lol

Mate, that is a mad bug. Of course its gonna be worth a bit, its a show dub for crying out loud. You have to say its a definitely worthwhile sale with the people drooling at NATS, and VWMA wanting pics, these are the things that make this bug absolutely worth every cent and more. These things just come to show u how mad it is.

As you can see, frenzix has great pride in this beautiful beetle, and so he should. And I'm quite the same through just seeing it in the pics he provided. I don't blame him for retaliating. The other bloke probably doesn't see the beauty in an awesome, well looked after classic show rat. Especially with those beaut rims.

Just some honest comments I thought i might say. Just showing the reality of this vehicle to the potential customers for ya ;)

58 Rat

There are so many reasons why I should buy this car.

It was posted on my birthday, My first car was a 58 and I am looking for something to drive right now.

You mentioned it has Kadrons so it is not the original motor, do you have the original motor? Just in case to put it on Vintage plates at a later date.

Are you willing to do a trade I have an original paint 56 Oval that mught be up your alley.

Cheers,

Calcool

not selling as i don't need the money, im selling my wifes kidneys instead, hope she's ok with this when she wakes up in the bath full of ice. If anyone wants a list of prices for all the bits involved just email me, some people doubted the costs. Thanks to all with good comments. Thanks to those with bad comments.

Inspired....

What more can I say?

Do you think this one could be as sweet?
Standard BRM's will be here next week and a beam is also on the cards...
Did you make your own or is it imported?
I plan on disc brakes as mine has a little hotty and close ratio box to go in...
But apart from that...Same goes....

This is the first time I've seen your car, its a shame she has to go...but i know how it is....I just sold my long term 64 (avatar) for the future of this project!

Well done dude...you truely have a good eye working for you...
